Welcome to the CAPS website.

CAPS was created by two mothers in Waltham Forest who have children with Asperger's Syndrome (AS).We are a support group in Waltham Forest for parents’/carers of children with an AS diagnosis, or of children who display traits of AS.

Our Aims

Provide mutual support. Share relevant information.
Maintain links with relevant organisations.

Activities.

• Regular monthly meetings for support (usually first Tuesday of the month).

• Regular youth club for AS children (usually first Saturday of the month)

• Additional special events organised for parents/carers and children
  
  
• Waitrose Community Matters supports three local charities or causes each month. Each branch has £1000 per month which is divided proportionally between the three nominated local organisations. From 29 December to 30 January, CAPS is one of the three causes being supported in the South Woodford branch of Waitrose. Please let as many people as you can know about this, and every time you shop there, please ask for a green token to put in the CAPS box.
